The Sony SNC-DH210T features a vandal-resistant casing so can be installed in exposed areas, while providing high quality HD1080p video, allowing viewers to identify people in view at a greater distance. The camera is also very discreet and unobtrusive, being small enough to fit in the palm of your hand and coming in either black or white paint finishes to more easily blend in with surroundings.

There is no need for additional recording application since Sony's RealShot Manager Lite software is included with the camera, allowing up to 9 cameras to be recorded. The camera's Stream Squared function also helps to reduce the number of cameras required by producing two video streams at different viewing angles.

Power over Ethernet support makes the camera easier to install as data and power are supplied through the same network cable, while H.264 video compression improves bandwidth consumption and storage requirements without impacting on video quality. The camera also offers DEPA video analytics, providing intelligent video motion detection to reduce false alarms and lower recording requirements.
